By MRT to Clarke Quay (NE5)

Take the Changi Airport line to Tanah Merah, change onto the East–West Line to Outram Park, then change onto the North East Line for one stop to Clarke Quay (NE5), right by the river. It's two changes but stays off the roads — useful when the riverside is busy.

Fort Canning (DT) is also close if you're coming via the Downtown Line. A single fare is about S$2 tapped with a contactless card.

Taxi, Grab and late nights

By road Clarke Quay is about 20–30 minutes from Changi for roughly S$25–45. Because it's a nightlife district, a taxi or a pre-booked transfer is often the easiest choice for a late arrival, when the MRT may have stopped for the night — check the last-train times before relying on rail.
